Photoshop

In this project we were learning how to add a QR code. I never knew that Adobe illustrator could make QR codes. This would made it a lot easier last semester when I was making a business card. It also would have made it more professional. With Adobe you can change the color and it does not have the whit background so it flows better to what your advertising. 

In this project we got to edit our faces. I choose a picture of myself. I gave myself bigger eyes because I always hate how my eye look closed in every picture. I also played around with my nose because I just wanted to see what it would look like. Lastly I made my face less round. 

 

Behance

This was just about getting ourselves out there. I choose three of my pieces of work. The first shows my skills in photoshop. I choose the picture of jacksepticeye that I made into words. Next I choose a CAD project I did. Lastly I choose one of my photos. This shows I have many different skills.
 

Portfolio

In this project we had to make a portfolio. This was to show us how to show our work in a professional manner. Since I had two classes I got to add more work that I have done. I showed a lot of my CAD and Architecture work. I also did a lot of my photography and videos I made. I thought it would be a good way to show how I am good at making a photo exciting.  

 

MCA Dedication

    For the dedication I got there at 10 am. I got to talk with Doug and Gay Lane because of Wendy Morgan. She suggested I would be a good person to talk to because of I worked in the old mac lab and the new one. Also that with my internship the access that we have to these computers have been helpful. When I was show casing the wilt building and what I did in photoshop so it would have a more professional look. This lead me to talking to President Wood and showing him what I was changing with the wilt building.

Book Cover

For this project we got to make a book cover. I used my own photo from axe throwing a few weeks ago. I decided it would be cool to make it in a book cover. I thought it would be interesting titling hitting your mark when you can see all the times I and other people threw. Also I put a blue strip so the title would stand out and it is the same blue as the blue rings. This way it would have a nice flow.

In this we learned how to make maps to show other areas of land. I choose Elkins WV. I showed the trails and what there is to do outside in Elkins. I choose to focus on otter creek because it has many good trails so close to Elkins an it's a nice escape.

illustrator

 In this project we got to play with the adobe illustrator on the Ipad. We learned how to use the grid. We also learned how to replicate objects in a grid and how to replicate objects in a circle. For my redoing a logo I decided to redo the photo app. I wanted something that mostly had plain colors and then attract to the lens.

In this project we learned about what GIS. Then we started actually looking at maps and changing it so you could see different routes. The we had to make our own map. 

Describe when you used a geospatial tool to make a decision. Provide specific details. 

I use it al the time going home. I am always using GPS. 






As an individual sensor, how might you contribute to the solution of location-based problems?
 Knowing an area and knowing they're problems you can help by the human aspect. For example doing the wilt building and having a music background I know what would be fun space to play in. 

1) City of Portland. (2) UPS and (3) Philadelphia Food Trust. Choose one of the three applications from the video and describe how the company or community used GIS. Then describe how you feel that this same technology could be applied to your community 

City of Portland I really like that they can take pictures of the city like graffiti and it will be removed.





For this project we made layers. Then we told it to show us the route. We then changed the color of the route.


This reminds me of......
it makes me think of the new technology they are using in the new matrix video game. The layouts and are able to zoom with and it looks insanely realistic. 

How new technologies help to broker peace, wage war, and fight crime but can also compromise personal privacy. Create a list of at least three pros and at least three cons of geospatial technology. What is a geospatial technology that you don’t think exists yet? What would it accomplish?

Pros
1. being able to see when family gets home so you can see that they are safe.

2. Being able to see where you are even if you don't have service.
3. being able to gps where you need to go.
Cons
1. Unwanted people can be watching you.
2. Can be harder to protect yourself
3. Could be used for good or bad in war. 
Something that doesn't exist yet is being able to see where you are at on a hiking trail.

CAD

For this we practiced with tinker cad. We learned how to move objects and rotate them. Then we learned how to duplicate them. I decided to go off on my own and make an easter egg and then duplicate it then change there colors.

For my own design I made a dog toy for my dog. My dog loves to chew on his toys but he is also afraid of everything. So my task was not easy. I decided to base it off of a ball because he loves to play catch. The baseball he has now is one I found when I was landscaping. It was just sitting in a park we were mowing. Now that ball it completely ripped up. He loves playing with it and trying to rip it apart. For this I decided to start with tires so makes my ball shape. Then I thought about how difficult it would be for me to throw to him. So I put half of water bottle in the middle. It would make it easier for me to throw and he loves playing with water bottles.   

 

Video game

Qbert game

First we went through a tutorial to show us how to make a video game. First we added all the pictures we needed. Then we set them to do what we wanted them to do by giving them an action. Like telling it to move in a bullet movement. Then we learned a little code of how to get explosions to fade in and out. After we did this is was time to make our own game but with the same steps. We picked to do qbert. 

After effects

 

In this project we worked in adobe after effects. We learned how to animate. We practiced how to move logos and have them fade in and out. We also learned how to add solid layers and change their opacities. 

After that we started to animate each individual letter. 

Wilt Building Adobe XD

For this project we used adobe XD. For this we got to make an app from scratch. We ended up using what I did for my internship. It talks a little bit about the wilt building. It also talks about what i am doing to the building and what it would look like. 

Premiere pro Practice

First we practiced in premier pro. Then we got to create our own video. We decided on making a golf video. First we took some videos of swings and techniques. Then on to me teaching my mom. Lastly working out and what they most important to work on for a golfer. Then it was trying to add everything and trying to figure out how to speed up or slow down video.

adobe XD

 

In this project we were reminding our selfs how to use Adobe XD. First we learned how to make wires. This helps us to get to different pages. With transitioning to different pages you have a lot of different options. You can do anything from tap, drag, voice command ect. The picture up above gives you a little insight of what we have done. 

Logo & Mood Board

For this assignment we were looking how to make our own logos. So we made a Monogram to start getting ideas of what we could do.

 

For the mood board I made it on canva. I decided to play around with the backgrounds and the pencil. The part I really didn't like was the fact the pencil for the computer is blue and I couldn't change it at all.

For this logo I made it in Illustrator. I decided to use a gear just because I'm super into steampunk and thought it could give the logo a very cool vibe. I used a pencil because I like to sketch my ideas out a lot. A saw because I like to woodwork. And lastly my phone because it's a great way to market myself.

Skel

I feel like my monster could be used as a day of the dead type stuff. His name is Skel. Although he may look scary he has a great personality. 

 

LogoRama

 Pizza hut- The whole pizza hut was written all around the building.

Besso- It was interesting that it was in a person.

Republican- was a elephant in the zoo

Audi logo- was on the bridge which was a really cool place to put it. it fit really well together if they did put the word audi on top I probably wouldn't have got it.

Ronald Mcdonald- It was crazy to see him as a joker type character.


The chicken from KFC looked like little Bentley logos.

Parent Advisory logo was over golly green giant. 

The bulls logo was on a michelin man head. That was a a great way to get two logos in one.


When the earthquake happened the north face logo appeared.

The apples that fell from the tree was the apple logos.

In the film it was cool to see what stood out like a sore thumb and what was hidden. I also appreciate the song references and the james bond reference. Also the personality of the character were cool to see. For example the spicy chip was super flirty. The big boy character was very childish.

 In this project we used what we had learned from the changing color project. We did color changes for both sides. Lastly we just added text. For me this skill could help me a lot in my internship. Being able to quickly change the color of a building through photoshop could be very helpful.

Mandala Designs

For this design I just put a bunch of stars stacked on each other. Then I changed the color of each star. Then I put whit lines in the stars to give it depth. 

 For these two I made one shape then told it duplicate it. The top one reminds me if a sun. Where the bottom one reminds me of a wheel made of ice.

Jack

 In this project we supposed to make someone into a thousand words. I choose to do jacksepticeye. It did not turn out that well. I think it was because it did not have that many shadows in the face. I picked grren and black because that is not only some of the colors of his logo but his hair as well.

 

Adobe

 

Today we just focused on how to sell your photography. We looked at Adobe stock and how to sell on there. It's something that I want to start looking into. I bet i could edit my photos through krita and sell them on adobe.

Ipad

 We took a bunch of photos together. Then we told it that we were going to make an animation. Then we told it that all the photos we took we wanted it to be our animation. Lastly we told it how many seconds we wanted to look at each picture.
